Prof. Yulei Liao

Biography:

Liao Yulei, male, Han nationality, born in 1985, holds a doctoral and postdoctoral degree. He is a professor, doctoral/master's supervisor (interdisciplinary study of ship and ocean engineering A+, underwater intelligent technology), deputy director of Qingjiang Innovation Center (national level), member of the 8th Board of Directors of Heilongjiang Shipbuilding Engineering Society, director of the Institute of Marine Carrier Technology, and head of the "Xinghai" academic team for marine unmanned aerial vehicle technology; Selected for the first "Head Wild Goose" Innovation Team (Marine Robot Technology) in Heilongjiang Province in 2019, the Outstanding Youth Project of Heilongjiang Provincial Science Foundation in 2020, won the Excellent Paper Award of the Chinese Society of Shipbuilding Engineering in 2020 and 2021, selected for the Outstanding Marine Science and Technology Book Award of the Chinese Society of Oceanography in 2021, and won honors such as Best Author of Journal of Central South University, Excellent Editorial Board of Unmanned Systems Technology, and Five Year Excellent Paper Award, Participate in promoting and creating the first "ocean robot" profession in China; Senior member of the China Shipbuilding Engineering Society, member of the China Automation Society, and member of the China Artificial Intelligence Society. He has long been engaged in research on ocean robot design and control technology, ocean robot cluster intelligence technology, ship control technology, and new concept unmanned marine system technology.

Prof. Lvxiang Deng

Central South University, China

Biography:

Prof. Lvxiang Deng entered Central South University in 1998, where he obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2011. In 2008-2010, he studied at the University of Toronto, Canada, as a visiting Ph.D student.  Starting from June 2011, he has been engaged in journal publishing industry. He had served as an Editor and Deputy Editorial Director of the Journal of Central South University (English Edition). And now he is Associate Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Director of Transportation Safety and Environment, Master Supervisor of  School of Humanities,  Central South University.

To date, he has authored and published papers in the field of editing and scholarly publishing, with more than 30 articles appearing in SSCI/CSSCI core journals, such as Learned Publishing, Chinese Journal of Scientific and Technical Periodicals,  Science & Technology Publishing, and Acta Editologica. Since embarking on a career in editing and publishing, he has been the principal investigator for one project under the China Science Journal Excellence Action Plan aimed at cultivating high-level journal management talent, the Young Talent Support Program, and one project under the Hunan Province’s First-Class Science and Technology Journal Excellence Program for Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Talents (2021ZL9004, in research).

Prof. Dr. Law Teik Hua

Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia

Biography:

Dr. Teik-Hua, Law is Professor at the Civil Engineering Department, Universiti Putra Malaysia and serves as the Head of the Road Safety Research Center in Engineering Faculty, Universiti Putra Malaysia. Dr. Law also appointed as Adjunct Professor at Henan Polytechnic University in China. He received his Ph.D. in Road Safety from the Center for Transport Studies at the Imperial College of London. He has 22 years experience in road safety research and specialized in road crash and road users' behavior analysis. He has working on multiple international research projects offered by the Handicap International, the Volvo Sweden, the World Health Organization and the FIA foundation. Dr. Law has 55 journal papers published in the top transportation journals, such as Accident Analysis and Prevention, Transport Geography, Transportation Research Part A, Transportation Research Part D, Transportation Research Part F, Transport Policy, Journal of Safety Research. He is also a frequent presenter at national and international conferences.
